Friendly staff who help out, and a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, and coffee. The accommodation is basic and cheap, and the price is fair for what you get. The bathroom and shower are open to the bedroom, with only a curtain between them. It wasn’t clean, but it wasn’t very dirty either.

The rooms felt stuffy, so we had to look for another facility. The hotel could be good, but it needs to feel more welcoming and improve its cleanliness a lot. I don’t compromise on quality, and the current state could make future enquiries less likely to turn into business and hurt customer ratings.

For 70 GHS, with a fan, it’s a good and cheap option. The rooms are big and clean, and I’d choose it again. The toilet and shower are right by the bed, separated only by a curtain, and the water smelled a little like chlorine.

Our group ate here and had dzowe, a local snack sourced from Anloga. Our hostess, “Mamaa”, was nice.

We paid 70 Cedis for a double room for me and my friend, and the breakfast was included in the price, which surprised us. The room and bathroom seemed clean, and the mattresses were the most comfortable we’ve slept on in Ghana. It was a dream! The bathroom was separated from the bedroom only by a curtain, but the toilet flushed properly, and there was the usual bucket for showering Ghanaian style. We had vegetarian spaghetti in the evening for 20 Cedis for both of us, and it was good. We’d been told the restaurant closed at 6, but with help from a friend they cooked it later just for us. In the morning we had an omelette, toast, and coffee. The place is close to the Akosombo station, less than a 10-minute walk, I think. I’d definitely recommend it to low-budget travellers.
