I didn't get any room service between checking in and checking out. There was no bottled water or towels in the room, and the toothbrush they provided was so hard it made my gums bleed. The conference room was also very hot, with air-conditioning that wasn't working.
A nice place to get away from home. It's cool and good for relaxing, with some fun too.
The photos seem to be from when the place was in its glory days. What you see isn't what you get, it looks deserted and smells old.
My room wasn't ready even though I'd booked several weeks ahead and arrived close to 6 pm. They handed me a key, then I had to wait outside while housekeeping hurried to clean. The basement room looked like a converted storeroom, with dim lighting and a tiny window. I asked to move, but was told no. The toilet seat had urine stains all over it. I told the front desk three separate times, and no one dealt with it. I later saw that the bathroom floor was dirty too, the shower door was broken and set aside, and the AC didn't work well. The rooms are expensive for what you get, and I'd give zero stars if I could. I wouldn't recommend this place.
It's a nice place in Cape Coast, and the location isn't bad. Our problem was the restaurant service. The egg breakfast arrived cold, so I told the hotel manager on duty and asked for fresh eggs cooked hot. They said there were no eggs on site and didn't offer anything else to make it right. I even suggested a way to keep our business, but we packed up and left.
