Rainforest Hotel

I'm leaving this review so the owner knows about it. The man at reception was great, but please make sure staff only suggest decent taxi drivers. My driver, Benedict, started disrespecting me and the owner of the next place I was staying as soon as we arrived, all because he had to wait five minutes for me to pay him. If your driver is called Benedict, you'd be better off walking to Accra than getting in his car.

Super clean and very modern, with nice staff and good food. Great place, 10/10.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at during our month in Ghana, so I'm not sure why it has only 1 star. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and the swimming pool was clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Food was average: okay, not bad, but not especially good.

The staff were very polite, and the place is quiet, with a pool and big, nice rooms that have AC. Internet worked at the restaurant, though slowly, and was unreliable in the rooms. The food was okay. The menu is huge, but they only have about 50% of the items. Even then, you might order one thing and get something else, which was fine most of the time. We called it “Food roulette” because you never know what you'll get. 😂
