Kangaroo Pouch Beach Resort

We didn't stay overnight, but it became our favorite place to hang out. Zinabu is so sweet and friendly, and she's renovating the place now, so we're excited to see it again when we come back. Her cooking is incredible too. We ate there for pretty much every meal. The red red and plantains were probably our favorite, but her fried rice was fantastic and I loved how she made the fries. Mainly, go meet Zinabu. She'll brighten your day.

The service was really good, and the girl in charge was kind and caring. Prices were affordable, and they can also arrange surf lessons so you can make the most of a stay in Busua. We asked for a sea-view room and were moved to one with a lovely terrace, where they even served breakfast. Busua is definitely somewhere to visit in Ghana, and Kangaroo Pouch is a great place to stay.

The beachfront setting is amazing, and our small room had a little balcony. The rooms are a bit dark and small, but the place is clean and the staff are friendly. The owner is a really good cook, and we thought the food was great. We had a fantastic couple of days. If you want to surf too, ask for Kofi or Clement.

I've been here twice and both times there was no water or electricity. The one good thing is its location right on the beach.
