The fresh food is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The beach is lovely, the compound is well kept, and I feel very safe there at night. Since it's near a fishing village, you can watch the fishing boats and nets working together with people power. We always choose Asaasi Yaa because it feels like home.

I used to stop here for a drink in past years, so I felt bad leaving after recommending the place to friends. But today someone at the gate asked us to pay an entrance fee. There were no customers around, so we refused and left.

Nice place. I'd give it four stars if there were a standby generator to keep the electricity on for 24 hours when the lights go out in Accra.

A peaceful spot with a bar and restaurant on site. The beach feels like it's yours, and it's much cleaner than the beaches nearby.
