The place is really cool, and the meals are delicious. They should stop using polyurethane bags for banku, rice ball, and similar foods.

I only came for a swim today, and the pool and well kept premises really impressed me. Suzie’s service was impeccable. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff were kind and polite, the rooms were okay, and I really liked the spicy grilled chicken. The driver who picked us up in the morning was gentle and very kind. During the week I stayed, though, breakfast was the same every day, and the bedsheets weren’t changed regularly. There were no writing pads in the conference jackets. On the second and third days, I also found mosquitoes and a small wall gecko in the room.

Five people from my organisation were booked to stay here, and we gave the team our names, but only one of us could get a room. In the end the participants were split across three to five other hotel facilities. That wasn’t a problem, and after working late on the last two training days, we were shuttled between our various rooms and the meeting venue. The good part was the Fiance person, chaiii, who was a real asset: very kind, tolerant, and big hearted with all the different people using the facility. The Urvan bus driver was just as nice and hospitable. On the last day, we wrapped up our training and logistics around 7pm, then finished packing and left at about 8pm. The coaster bus driver took us from Banivillas, where we’d held the meeting, to Royal Basin Resort to pick up two more colleagues. They’d been asked to check out of their previous lodging because they’d been told there were rooms at Royal Basin Resort. After the two got on, we sat in the facility’s car park for over 20 minutes and couldn’t find the driver. A colleague went to look for him so he could take us to where we were staying. She came back irritated. When I asked why, she said he’d told her, “we had delayed him when he came to pick us up from the conference venue, so he was attending to his personal things too to delay us.” This one ehh, were we supposed to laugh or cry? Hmmmm, the story goes on.
