Fine for a night, I guess, though they leave water barrels around where mosquitoes can breed. Seems to be working...

The owners are friendly and know the local area well, including things to do. There seemed to be plenty of people returning while I was there, and I can understand why. The camping is great value, and the well-designed lodge rooms have comfortable beds, mosquito nets and fans. The eating area is pleasant too, with food and drinks at reasonable prices. There are added charges for hot showers, WiFi and kitchen use, but I didn’t mind. They help keep the basic price down.

The shared toilets and showers were very clean, and the German owners were friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely campsite with huts, good food and drinks. Prices seemed fine to me as a European.

The open-air shower was the highlight for me, and the shared WC was clean and easy to use. The rooms are simple but cosy. Just hope there’s electricity for the fan, otherwise it gets hot under the net at night. It’s well connected to the main road and close to Brusubi Turntable, a junction anyone in Serrekunda will know or can take you to.
