The bed was reasonably comfortable, but there wasn’t much else to like. WiFi was down for my whole stay, and housekeeping never came to clean or even spray the room as promised. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and when I asked to move, they said there were no other rooms, even though the hotel didn’t look full. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and you have to wait for it. I waited 30 minutes for lunch or dinner after a staff member told me to stay, then someone else said the restaurant was closed.

The furnishings looked modern and new, and the hotel was clean. The staff stood out as especially friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with my stay and would gladly come back.

I’ve stayed at two other hotels in Conakry before Golden Plazza, but the respect guests get here was amazing. The reception and security teams were very good, and the hotel manager is a very good person. The service is really good, and the staff treat guests with a lot of respect.
