Liberty's Studios

If you're hiring a car, the location is perfect. Without one, it isn't great if you like to go exploring. We had a lovely 2 week stay at Liberty’s Studios, and couldn't have asked for more from the room: clean, modern and well equipped. Mosquitoes can be a problem, so come prepared with bug spray. On our first day, we picked up citronella burners and candles at the cheap supermarket, and they worked really well on the balcony in the evenings.

The owners were available at their on-site taverna whenever we needed anything. Our two weeks there were excellent, with a clean room and fresh towels every 3 days. There were a lot of mosquitos around the appartements, so come prepared with repellants. Plug-ins and candles are cheap at local supermarkets. Thanks for the hospitality.

The beach was an easy 3-minute walk from our room, with clear water and lovely views, and the olive tree plantation around the property made for a peaceful setting. We also loved exploring the north of the island, with its villages and natural scenery. Our 7-night Corfu stay was wonderful. The family made us feel welcome with their warmth and attention, and housekeeping came daily to keep everything spotless. The room had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning and a walk-in shower. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our private terrace. The taverna right beside the room was a highlight, with delicious Greek food and rich local flavours. We can't wait to return.

We’ve already booked for next year after another wonderful 4 week holiday at Liberty's Studios. This was our ninth visit, and each one seems better than the last. Labis and his family run the place and are always ready to do whatever they can for guests. Their Taverne serves what we think is the best food and wine in Almyros. The fruit, vegetables and potatoes are home grown, and they make their own very good wine too. It's an absolute gem.
