The room was clean and nice, and it was good value overall, but customer service was missing. None of the phone numbers we were given worked. Breakfast was supposed to be included at a nearby cafe, but the cafe said it had no arrangement with the hotel. Update: They refunded the breakfast cost, thanks. The hotel should update the green instruction card in the room with the right contact details and breakfast information.

Our studio was well kept, with clean sheets and a firm double bed. Toiletries for the length of the stay were available on request. It faced sideways toward the sea, and there was a ground-floor veranda where you could wait for the manager or check-in. The place is near the harbor, with the city and shops within walking distance. It isn’t soundproof, so it might not suit families with kids, though it didn’t bother us. A nearby seaside restaurant is a nice option for the first night.

The location is handy for the main harbor, bars, restaurants, and the bus stop for getting around the island. There are sea-facing balconies and a shared chill-out area at the back. I want to think it’s recently refurbished, since the main facilities were in good condition. We had some trouble checking in, though I hope that was just a coincidence. Mikros Apoplous, the seafood tavern next door, was a convenient choice for lunch or dinner, with decent quality and prices.

A comfortable, clean place in a great spot, and not too expensive. I lost my key while walking around town, and after midnight the concierge called and offered to bring it to me, without me even asking. If you’re staying in Adamas, stay here.

The balcony gave me an amazing harbor view, and the room was pretty spacious and felt like home. Service was great too. The port, bus station, and a supermarket just around the corner were all within walking distance.
