Milesian Suites

The suite was nicely decorated, with a lovely small pool or jacuzzi and a good sea view. There's parking right outside, and it's well placed for Adamas, exploring the island, and reaching a supermarket. You'll need a car or ATV. Dorian, the host who met us, was very nice. We did run into several problems. We stayed in Milesian Suites 1, and the pergola covering the whole terrace meant there was almost no sun for sunbathing. The pool got sun, but the terrace loungers stayed shaded most of the day. The suite is close to the main road out of Adamas, which was busy and noisy all day, and the road's proximity also affected privacy. We knew there was a road after researching, but hadn't realized how loud or busy it would be, and this wasn't clear in the online photos. The cleaner came every day, which was great, but on several occasions a window was left open, making us worry about the security of our belongings. The kitchen could have been better stocked, and having only one mirror in the bathroom wasn't ideal. Despite being a smart TV with Netflix, the television couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, so we only had a radio station available. The suite was nice enough, but compared with other places we stayed in the Cyclades, it felt overpriced and not like the best value.

10/10! The hosts' hospitality made an already wonderful stay even better. The rooms were clean and charming, and the modern suite had a nice bathroom and a fabulous plunge pool with a beautiful view. It's close to everything you might need or want to visit, though you'll need a car, ATV, or something similar to get around. The port is only a four-minute drive away.

We enjoyed the modern, clean, comfortable room and its very nice finishings. The sea view was beautiful, and the cold plunge pool felt great. It has jets, but keep in mind that it's not a hot tub. You need a vehicle to get between here and Adamas, since there's no sidewalk along the road. If you want restaurants and shops within walking distance, I'd stay in Adamas itself. The stay was going well until we asked the property manager at Milesian Suites to call a taxi to take us and our luggage to our next place in Pollonia. We specifically asked for a taxi or cab, but instead a luxury car service arrived and charged €45 for a 15-minute ride. The manager texted the price and said the car would be there in five minutes, so there wasn't time to cancel. I don't know whether she gets a cut from the company or was helping a friend get business, but either way, we felt ripped off. Our Pollonia accommodation manager also thought that was far too much for the ride. Apart from that, we had a good stay, but book your own taxi.

The location and staff were great, the rooms clean, and the views lovely. Our only complaint was the beds, which felt a bit hard and weren't very comfortable. One person in our group of four liked them, so they may suit people who prefer a firmer bed.
