Milos Accommodations Rentals

We left after just one night and never got our money back. Trying to sort it out ate into our holiday, and Milos Accomodations eventually blocked us on WhatsApp. Even Booking staff couldn't get through to them. There was no staff around to clean, and our complaints went nowhere. When we sent photos, the operator rudely told us to go to the beach instead. The room at Efi Studios was nothing like what we'd booked through Booking. It was dark, dirty and full of mould. The frying pan and toaster were grimy, the kitchen utensils unusable, the terrace dirty, cushions mouldy, insect blood on the walls, fungus under the shower, plus spiders and dust. It was the worst experience I've had. I can't understand how people like this can run hotels or apartments. A huge scam, terrible conditions, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The place we chose was just right and looked like the photos. It was well cared for and in a great spot, and better value than the Airbnb options I’d seen. The staff were incredibly helpful, with recommendations for attractions, bars, restaurants, and just about anything we wanted to do. Couldn’t recommend them more.

We ended up leaving and finding another hotel after two nights without proper sleep and a lot of stress. When we asked for a refund for the unused stay, Milos Accommodation refused. They even threatened to call the police when we tried to handle the room change ourselves, then did it again when we complained. Being threatened like that as guests from another country was awful, and it made Milos hard to enjoy. The bed was an impossible-to-sleep-on box spring, and a constant water-recycling sound came through the ceiling or walls. We reported it the morning after our first night. Milos Accommodations replied eight hours later that it was the water pump, and offered no solution. They kept insisting nothing was wrong and wouldn't come to the room when I asked them to see for themselves. We requested a move to a room away from the pump, but were told none were available, which we believed was another lie. They also misrepresented the property's location, which wasn't close to where the map showed it. I regret booking through this property manager and strongly suggest staying away from this business. They don't seem to know much about hospitality.

The staff were kind and helped us figure out how to make the most of exploring the island. The office arranged transfers for land tours and boat trips to beautiful Kleftiko, and the rides were on time. They also helped with our luggage. We really appreciated the help and information from everyone at Milo’s Accommodations. Thank you so much, we’re very happy with our stay.
