Blue Oyster Villas

Blue Oyster Villas was a lovely place for a family break, and we really enjoyed our stay. The basement table tennis was great fun together. Outside, the pool area had sunbeds and a table, and the house itself was comfortable for relaxing after a busy year. It’s about a minute from the sea, with a “private” access, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so we didn’t need the car. The house is well equipped with an oven, microwave and Nespresso machine, among other things. There are three bathrooms and three bedrooms with smart TVs for Netflix or Amazon Prime, though one of the TVs isn’t smart. The only downside was morning noise from the people maintaining the property, who were a bit too “expressive” while working. Thanks for a great villa. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Rethymnon.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely villa. The beach is about a 60-second walk away, and in under five minutes you can reach a road with a supermarket and loads of restaurants. The hot water was cold at first, but the issue was fixed quickly and the staff were friendly about it. It would also have been handy to have one or two dishwasher tablets on arrival until we could buy our own, though that was a very minor thing.

Brand new villas with great service, definitely recommended. The beach is a one-minute walk away, and restaurants and a supermarket are about three minutes on foot.

The villa manager Georgius welcomed us so warmly, like an old friend, and sorted out every question or problem right away. The villa was very clean, with cozy, modern, air-conditioned rooms. Each room had a TV and internet access, and the terrace had a gorgeous view. It’s right on the beach, with sunbeds and bars just two minutes away, and restaurants and shops under five minutes away. The restaurant prices were very reasonable: huge portions for 5-10 euros, and really tasty. Crete had no COVID-19 when we visited in early July. Maybe it’s the last place on our planet without COVID-19!
