The villa looks beautiful and sits in a quiet, rural spot. Some parts inside are tired and could use a bit of DIY. The internet went out for the last few days of our holiday, though we did have a relaxing time.

We enjoyed the pool, kitchen appliances, air conditioning and outdoor shower, and the host was lovely. They greeted us, showed us around and were easy to reach whenever we needed them. The villa is about 15 minutes from a sandy beach with restaurants, bars and a small shop. For other places, you'll need a car. Building work next door started early and continued through the day, which made the outdoor area less relaxing. A few practical things let the stay down. We didn't have enough cleaning products or bin bags to keep the inside as clean as we'd have liked, and a cleaner visiting once or twice during the week would have helped. Some plug sockets and hand railings were loose, which seemed like possible safety issues. The fridge and freezer didn't get cold enough to keep food chilled or frozen. The sofas and sun loungers felt dated and weren't as clean as we wanted, and some chairs beside the villa were already damaged when we arrived. We had a great time, but upgrades to comfort and safety would help the villa live up to the luxury description.
