Achtis Boutique Hotel

The dinners at the hotel were some of the best meals I can remember, and half board is well priced, so I’d strongly recommend it. This was my second visit to the Achtis and somehow it keeps getting better. The whole hotel feels like a beautiful, peaceful oasis, with peacocks adding their own touch of elegance. Lilia deserves a special thank you for making every moment lovely. She’s always smiling and helpful, with the best energy. It’s also a pleasure seeing Androniki and her family, who created this haven. Gabriela is a brilliant chef and such a warm, joyful person, and I was glad to see Kristina again, whose memory is incredible. Every member of staff goes above and beyond, and I can't think of a single negative thing to say. I need to book my next visit as soon as possible.

I chose this hotel the first time because I don't enjoy huge places with 200-plus rooms. This one has just 36, and this will be my third visit. People of all ages stay here, and the staff are so friendly, especially with little children. I went half board. Breakfast is fresh and buffet style, with everything from croissants and pancakes to continental options, a full English breakfast, and freshly made cakes. The evening meals were the real treat for me. They're made to order with fresh ingredients sourced locally, and I even tried dishes I normally wouldn't pick. The portions are generous too. There have been some new additions for the hotel's 20th anniversary, which make the stay even better. Already looking forward to coming back.

The staff make the place feel as though they're there just for you, and the service and cleanliness are both at a high level. Each room has its own character and carries a sense of ancient Greece. The welcome included a glass of good wine and dessert, and the design as you enter takes you back to that era. There's a lovely pool at the center, ringed by palm trees. The food offers both traditional and international choices, so there's something for everyone. It felt like paradise. Highly recommended.

The rooms and resort are beautiful, with a lot of history in the building, and the cleaning service comes every morning or afternoon. Staff offer plenty of experiences at very good prices, and the service was amazing. There are things to do within the complex, while the city centre is only a two-minute walk away, with a beach and lots of restaurants. Other beaches and towns are nearby too, so there's plenty of choice for holiday activities. Five stars, and I couldn't recommend this hotel more.
