The view from the hotel was perfect for taking lovely pictures, and the location was great. We also enjoyed the lobby when there was live music. We tried every restaurant and found the food excellent, with impeccable service. The staff were kind and always smiling. We had such a great time and will definitely come back.

The views from the hotel and pools are stunning, and the grounds are very clean and well looked after. Our room was modern, roomy, and had everything we needed. The beach is lovely for snorkeling, though getting there means taking the elevator and walking down the hill, then making the return trip. Staff are generally polite, and the buffet is always topped up so nothing runs out. The service often didn’t feel five-star. Cutlery wasn’t always clean, and we were expected to keep using the same fork and knife between courses. Some staff seemed untrained: they sometimes cleared plates while we were still eating, asked for payment mid-meal, or took food and drinks before we’d finished. Nobody explained which drinks were included, and staff rarely came to take orders, often forgetting them when they did. There’s no toilet at the beach, the beach bar doesn’t make real cocktails, and you have to carry towels from the pool down to the beach and back. The beach sunbeds are uncomfortable. Around the pool, shade is scarce, with only a few loungers covered during the busiest hours. Breakfast and dinner were mediocre, not awful, just not memorable. The other restaurants were okay but overpriced. The location, rooms, and views are gorgeous, but the food, service, and some beach and pool facilities kept the resort from feeling truly five-star.

We’ll definitely return after such an unforgettable stay. The sea views and surrounding scenery are breathtaking, and there are three beautiful pools. The private beach is peaceful, with clear water, and never felt crowded. You do have to take an elevator and walk a little to get there, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The beach sits at the foot of the cliff, which helps give the hotel its outstanding views. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Aleksandra, the Guest Relations Manager, was especially friendly and efficient, and helped us a lot.

The spa became a big part of our honeymoon, and it was so relaxing. The massages were the best we’ve ever had, and Alex, who ran the spa, was lovely. Since we speak German, we could chat in German, which was really cool. Our room was beautiful and felt special. We did have a small issue with the swallows, though it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. After we reported the bird droppings, the staff made sure everything was cleaned regularly. Alexandra and I had been in touch about the honeymoon package before we arrived. Communication was smooth, and during our stay she made sure everything was perfect. We were warmly welcomed, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was lovely, with an incredible view. Afytos is about 10 minutes away by car, a small but very nice town. We had a great time at Cora Hotel & Spa.
