Casa Abuelo Cottage

The people are what stayed with us most. Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Soula treated us like friends, with warm smiles and a generosity you really have to experience for yourself. When we arrived, there was homemade cake on the table, fresh eggs from the garden hens, and breakfast treats that made us feel at home straight away. Casa Abuelo sits in a lovely green landscape, with fig, plum, and pear trees leading into olive groves. The house is clean, airy, and spacious, with several spots for meals, including a shady veranda and a rustic table made from tree trunks. There are hammocks between the trees and sunbeds for relaxing. The care in the small things showed too, with a fire extinguisher and a well-stocked first-aid kit. It felt like stepping back into another time. We had some of our most beautiful days in the Greek Islands here, and hope to return soon! 💙🧿
