The location was hard to beat: the beach is just steps away, the bus to Naxos Town stops right outside, and there’s a supermarket next door. Our apartment had lovely sea views from the balcony, a beautifully designed room, a very comfortable bed, and all the amenities we needed, including kitchenware. We were welcomed with local liquor, homemade sweets, wine, and water. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices, and the property was spotless and well looked after. Staff stayed friendly and helpful, despite a few early-season issues. The laundry service was convenient at €14 per bag. We stayed during the opening weeks, and some things didn’t go smoothly. One day the room wasn’t cleaned despite assurances, and on checkout morning staff came in during breakfast and took towels even after we declined cleaning. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were missing at first, and we had to ask twice for toilet paper. The in-room jacuzzi couldn’t be used because the water took too long to heat. The glass bathroom door, a common but impractical Greek design, gave little privacy. We also got mixed messages about access to beach chairs: staff said they weren’t available before the season, but we saw other guests using them freely.

We came to this dream spot without expecting much and found a beautiful place and wonderful people. The accommodation was a 10 out of 10: clean, cozy, and with a lovely view. Staff also get 10 out of 10 for being helpful, attentive, and cheerful. The beach was spotless, with great sun loungers and perfect service. Food, drinks, and service at the restaurant were all superb.

It was quiet when we visited Naxos in mid-May, and our room was clean with lovely decor. The pool was gorgeous, and the team served drinks and food by the pool through Peppermint Beach Restaurant. It’s also just steps from the best beach I’ve been to. My only complaint was the shower, which had no curtain or wall, so it was hard to keep water from spraying everywhere.

The studio was roomy and comfortable for three people, and I enjoyed a delicious meal at their restaurant, called peppermint. Espero kindly insisted on bringing me dessert, which made the meal feel even more personal. This is a relaxed, welcoming place for a beach break, and even though some minor maintenance would help, it didn’t spoil my stay. The family-owned Angeliki Hotel Apartments is managed by Kiki and her two brothers. They were always around, smiling and ready to help. The hotel sits right on Plaka Beach, with beautiful sea views just outside. I arrived before check-in, but they had my room ready early and offered me breakfast and coffee while I waited. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Naxos.
