They turned us away over our two tiny dogs, even though the place was empty. Any animal lover should steer clear!

People were leaving and you could hear them complaining on the way out. I understand why. Service took over 40 minutes despite the shop not being especially busy, and the portions were small and mediocre for the prices. The potatoes were frozen, the souvlaki was tasteless and badly done, and the pancetta was only somewhat satisfactory. They even served a sample of bouillon on a saucer. They charged 2.5 euros per person for a 6 cm pita instead of bread, plus 3 euros for each bottle of water. The tax violations seemed endless. Hard to know where to start with this place. It's a bad choice, and that's probably why you can get a table there faster than elsewhere.

We gave them 1.5 hours after ordering before asking for the drinks bill. We'd ordered an appetizer, beetroot salad, a main course, two glasses of wine and a cola on Saturday, but the salad hadn't even shown up after 45 minutes. The waiter checked and said the order had accidentally never been sent to the kitchen, and that ours would be prioritized. We understood since it was a very busy day and mistakes happen. Still, after another 40 minutes with nothing on the table, we asked to pay for the drinks and leave. The waiter kept saying the food would arrive right away and asked us to wait. Three minutes later the first dishes finally came, but after all that waiting we'd lost our appetite and good mood.

The place is spotless, the staff are polite, and service is quick. We ate really well, with fresh ingredients and very filling portions. It's in the best spot in P. Agios Athanasios, and the atmosphere is beautiful and warm. The owners and staff deserve congratulations. The owners welcomed us with wine.
