Harmony E Rock Hotel

The staff made our stay especially memorable. The ladies at reception and the head chef in the main restaurant were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and everyone we met was among the kindest, most genuine hotel staff we’ve encountered. Thank you to the whole team at Hotel Harmony E Rock for making it feel so special. The location is beautiful and tucked away somewhere quiet, with a calm, warm, welcoming feel. Food was fresh, authentic, and delicious every day, and everything was spotless, from the rooms to the shared spaces. The facilities were modern and elegant, and the rooms and common areas had stylish furnishings. Service and cleanliness both get 5/5 from us, while the staff get 6/5! A car is useful if you want the freedom to explore places like Ierapetra or take boat tours. A fantastic experience from beginning to end.

The beds and pillows made for an incredibly comfortable night’s sleep, and the hotel is pet-friendly too. There was a cozy little bed waiting for our pet in the room, along with treats, bowls, and toys. It’s set among rocks that form beautiful shapes, making it a wonderful place to slow down and rest.

The sea and nature views were breathtaking, and the resort had a wonderfully calm, luxurious feel. The adult-only setting made it especially peaceful. My suite came with a private pool and hot tub, which made the stay feel even more indulgent. The hospitality stood out at every turn. All the staff I met were warm, professional, and attentive, and they went above and beyond. The spa was another highlight, with high-end treatments in a serene, luxurious setting. Meals were fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The modern facilities were immaculately maintained, the whole resort was impeccably clean, and the furnishings felt stylish and upscale. I stayed at Harmony E-Rock Hotel & Resort in Ierapetra (Agia Fotia) on August 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and the experience was spectacular from arrival onward. My wife and I had a great stay and would come back. The food was fresh and I enjoyed it, though the buffet got a little repetitive. The beds were extremely comfortable. Guests staying several days get a special five-course dinner at the Ala Carte restaurant. It’s a nice experience and well worth it, just expect it to take about two hours. You don’t necessarily need a car if your plan is to stay at the hotel and walk to the beach. There’s no hotel beach, but a paved local road leads down the hill in about 10 minutes. You need to be fit enough for the walk, though it isn’t difficult, just a bit steep. The small, quiet beach was a perfect size with few people around. The beach club rents two chairs and an umbrella for 12 EUR, and Manos was friendly and helpful. We had cold drinks there. We came with a TUI trip, which I highly recommend, and the bus from the airport was arranged. For more exploring, the hotel offers rental cars; we used Drivers Club nearby because it was cheaper and had lots of options, and I recommend them too. A special thank you to Stavros from the Ala Carte restaurant and buffet, and George at the front desk. Some staff were extremely friendly, and these two made our stay especially memorable. At our 3:00 in the morning checkout, George took extra care of us, drove us to the bottom of the driveway to catch our bus, and had breakfast prepared. They were both so nice and helpful. The main drawbacks were the very limited All Inclusive drinks and some unfriendly staff. Only one draft beer is free, while Corona and other beers cost extra. The same goes for vodka, rum, red wine, white wine, and other options: one kind is free and other brands cost extra. Cocktails are limited too. A pina colada costs extra, while a virgin one is free. It feels odd because you can order the virgin pina colada and a separate shot of rum, both free, but a regular pina colada is charged. Some staff weren’t friendly at all, particularly at the pool bar and one girl in the buffet restaurant. The wifi dropped out from time to time, so I wouldn’t rely on it for video meetings. My mobile data cut out as well, so it may be because of the remote area and not much the hotel can do.
