I stayed for two wonderful weeks. After years of traveling around Greece, I know this is exactly the kind of small, family-run hotel I look for. Hariklia is a thoughtful, attentive host who keeps everything immaculately clean. The rooms are sparse, clean, and pleasing to look at. Both floors have a large terrace draped in bougainvillea and jasmine, with great views over the harbor and bay. There's also a communal kitchen equipped for breakfast or a light meal.

The balconies and rooms look out over Agia Galini Harbour, and the view is picturesque. It was such a calm, relaxing stay. Hotel Hariklia is full of Greek charm, traditional, comfortable, clean, authentic, and welcoming. Vibrant fuchsia flowers from old Bougainvillea trees cover the place. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, and cleanliness and attention to detail were 10 out of 10. The rooms are lovely, and there's a well-equipped kitchen for making a drink or preparing a meal. An ideal spot for independent travelers. I highly recommend it.

Hariklia was so sweet and quick to respond when we emailed about staying. There was a mix-up with our dates since we came in the quiet off-season, but she sorted it right away and got us rooms next to each other quickly. They were very clean, and after a couple of Airbnbs with really hard beds, it was a relief to sleep comfortably. We all slept great. One little thing: the remote can look as if the air conditioner is on because the temperature lights up. I kept changing the temperature with no result until I finally pressed the power button, and then it turned on! 😆😂 It also works as a heater, which kept us warm on a cool winter night. Try the juicy, sweet loquats from her beautiful fruit trees. I can imagine how lovely it must be in summer. The place is beautiful, with stunning views and only a short walk to restaurants. It's a little sleepy off-season, though a few cafes and a bakery were still open for breakfast. It's also a good starting point for visiting nearby sights and villages, or as a stop on a journey.
