A nice stay in a quiet area, good if you’re looking to relax and get away from the bustle of big cities. The staff were very friendly and the rooms look out to sea. Breakfast was a little sparse, but okay. I’d recommend it for a relaxing vacation.

The view was great, and the room was very nice. Everyone was friendly, and breakfast was lovely, with the flavour of traditional Cretan products. It didn’t seem wheelchair accessible, at least as far as the rooms go, though it’s worth asking.

We mostly come back for how welcoming Manolis and his wife are. They do everything they can to make the stay pleasant. The rooms are simple, but very clean, and the terraces have incredible views of the Libyan Sea.

The sea views from floors 5 and 6 are phenomenal, though there’s no elevator. Manolis greets you with a friendly smile, and check-in is quick and easy. The hotel needs a total renovation, but Manolis does everything to make you feel at home. There’s a small but decent pool for a quick swim, and cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The whole village has stairs and changes in elevation, so the hotel fits right in.
