Giannoulis Santa Marina Plaza - Adults Only

A lovely adults-only place if you want some peace and quiet. The setting feels intimate, with a gorgeous beach and really good food and drinks. The rooms are modern, nicely designed, and all have a view. A wonderful choice.

The sea view from our room was stunning, and the beach is right beside the hotel. The pool was a relaxing spot, with an outdoor bar, music, and entertainment on some nights. We had loads of laughs with the staff and met new friends, and there are shops and crazy golf around too. The food buffet had lots to choose from. Our room was very clean, with fresh bedding every day and clean towels. From arrival to the end, the staff were so welcoming and kind, and helped us find places to visit. They even enjoyed our shit shirt night, which gave us so many laughs. We’ll really miss this holiday. Thanks so much for having us, we’ll be back ☺️

The team worked hard, though at busy times it felt like they were short-staffed. The bar queues could get long, especially when only one person was serving. Christos in the restaurant was especially attentive, looking out for the older guests, and worked hard, often taking on work that younger staff didn’t seem as invested in doing.

We returned to Santa Marina Plazza after our first stay last summer, and it was another pleasant surprise. The place is still quiet, the rooms are very clean, and the people everywhere are just as kind and smiley, from reception and housekeeping to the pool/beach bar and restaurant. Niki at the pool/beach bar deserves a mention. Congratulations again, good job! At my request, the manager Alexandros kindly arranged for two more dishes to be added to the a la carte Azzuro restaurant menu, sword fish fillets and scallops. Fresh calamari, shrimps, and octopus were already on it. Thanks to the hotel manager and restaurant chef. Nec plus ultra!
