Xara and Harry were such lovely hosts, and they welcomed us with traditional Cretan gifts, including olive oil made from the trees around the property. We loved the wonderful pool and wished we could have stayed longer. The villa itself was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean, with sea views and a peaceful feel. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you!

The view over the sea made work, the coronavirus, and everything else feel far away. We spent a week with friends in this spacious, luxurious house, and everything was very clean. Chara and Charis have a real eye for style, from the furniture and lamps to the towels and interiors. The stone-built villa also has a distinctive wooden roof. The main bedroom is roomy, with a fantastic bed; the second seems better suited to children, with two separate beds, one smaller and lower. Chara and Charis welcomed us warmly with two homemade cakes and lots of drinks in the fridge. They even cooked us a fantastic typical Greek meal one day. If you want a lovely holiday and a morning swim in the pool, rent this villa! Antje and friends from Germany, October 2020.

The hosts really made this stay stand out. They were professional and friendly at the same time. The house is luxurious, with a lovely pool and a great view over the ocean. Everything about villa Xara felt perfect. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect hideaway.
