X Dream One

The staff were polite and always glad to help, and getting there by public transport was easy even without a car. There’s also room service around the clock, which we found really handy. We did hear some sounds from other rooms. Given the type of hotel, that didn’t surprise us, though it could feel awkward if you’re staying with someone who isn’t your partner. Just to avoid confusion, it’s adults-only for a reason. I’d still recommend it.

The rooms are cramped, smell of smoke, and have plastic wrapped around everything, even the TV remotes. You can’t turn the lights off, and getting sleep is tough with chambermaids shouting along the corridor all night while couples come and go by the hour. This place seems aimed at people looking for a brief fling. If you’re in the area and just need somewhere to sleep, I’d sooner stay in a car than this mess.

My sister was visiting while I was studying abroad and accidentally booked this place. We tried to cancel and get a refund since a sex hotel made no sense for two siblings, but the staff refused. They don’t advertise the hotel clearly, so pay close attention to what kind of place it is. Don’t book it for your family unless you’re prepared to lose the money. I feel they tricked us with misleading advertising, kept our payment, and that’s how they make money. Shameful.

The staff were nice, but this wasn’t the “normal” hotel they claimed it was. Mirrors cover the whole room, it smells of cigarettes, and you can hear people having a “good time” all around. If your flight’s been delayed or cancelled and you need somewhere to stay, I wouldn’t recommend it.
