Amazonas Apartments

Maria and Felix were so kind and helpful, and their little Greek restaurant serves delicious food. It’s one of the best places to eat in Agia Pelagia, in my opinion. The apartments were clean and had all the facilities we needed for our holiday. We also loved sitting on the sunny balcony and looking at the mountains, and the beach is close by 😊 Daria&Henk

We spent two weeks here at the beginning of July and had a great time. Felix and his wife Maria looked after us well, and we enjoyed many evenings sitting in the bar and meeting people from all over Europe. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. We’re both already looking forward to coming back next summer.

The beach is close, the people are lovely, and the pool gets sun all day with hardly any wind, so bring sun cream. It’s a simple, old fashioned place, but clean, with decent sized rooms, firm but good beds, and the basics like a fridge, hotplate, and kettle. There’s a play area at the back, and the gates are locked with guests’ keys, which felt secure. Air con and the safe cost extra. The pool gets deep right away, so there isn’t much shallow water. The TV didn’t get any channels, but I didn’t mind. Wifi was intermittent, though most bars nearby have good wifi. One thing to know: the sockets are the old type. You need the travel plugs with thinner pins, but the shops here only seem to sell the newer, thicker ones, which won’t fit.

A cockroach dropped from the ceiling, and there was dust everywhere. The beds were rock hard, bathroom tiles were peeling, and the shower curtain was broken and coming down. Some doors were locked for no clear reason, and we couldn’t lock our own doors properly. The hallway smelled like pee, the safe wouldn’t lock, and there was no front desk for check-in. It was disgusting. I don’t recommend it at all, and I’d never come back 🤢🤢
