The location was the one bright spot: right in the center of Agia Pelagia, which is a lovely area. But the apartment's condition and service didn't come close to justifying the price, and there seem to be better, more affordable places nearby with kinder, more respectful hosts. Our arrival was already stressful. The ferry was delayed, so we got in late at night, through no fault of our own. I'd told the owner, but he was impatient and rude on the phone, threatening to leave us stranded if we didn't get there immediately. We were only about 30 minutes late and didn't know the area. He eventually hung up on us. During our 5 night stay, the bed sheets were never changed and towels were replaced just once. The place wasn't cleaned daily, the toilet flush didn't work properly, and there wasn't even water in the fridge. Those basic things made an already disappointing stay worse.

From 9 to 16 August, we stayed in a very nice, clean apartment in a perfect spot. The owner Manolis was lovely too. For what we paid, I really hadn't expected it to be this good.

It's a good deal for the price, with the essentials in the apartment. Agia Pelagia beach is stunning and very close by. We stayed for a few nights.

The only catch for us was the air conditioning fee, €10 per day. We hadn't read that part of the information beforehand, so that was on us. We had a lovely 14 day stay otherwise. The landlord was always friendly, with a smile, even when we ran into him in the village. Housekeeping was friendly and did a really thorough job; everything was kept clean.
