We spent 10 days here with friends and loved the villa’s views and all the amenities. The hosts don’t live on site, but they were incredibly friendly, helpful and quick to sort out anything that came up. The bedrooms have recently been renovated, so the colorful look in the photos has been replaced with more neutral designs. One thing we especially enjoyed was the outdoor kitchen, with a BBQ, gas grill and pizza oven. Charcoal is easy to find at most supermarkets. For firewood, the hosts pointed us to a reasonably priced place in Heraklion. There’s a lot to the villa. The lowest floor has two bedrooms, a hobby room with a pool table and kicker table, a sauna, steam bath, some gym equipment and a small projector room where we watched a couple of NFL games. On the main floor are the dining room, kitchen, balcony, pool area, outdoor kitchen, living room and another bedroom. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, a kid’s room and a small outdoor playground. With so much here, you hardly need to go out.

The villa is beautiful, spacious and luxurious, with stunning views and enough room for nine of us. We loved it. The owners were warm and hospitable, and provided whatever we needed, including a fridge stocked with food and wine and, in our case, a wheelchair. The guidebook has useful local information, and the place is even better in person than the photos and videos suggest. There’s a pool table, a big boxing bag, two BBQs and a private Hamam, with quality throughout. It’s child friendly too. Recommended if it’s within your budget. Thank you, Antonis x

We had an amazing week at this wonderful house, and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Some photos are out of date, since the outdoor living area and landscaping have been developed further and look even more beautiful now. The hosts were wonderful too.
