Ania's homemade dishes are delicious and beautifully presented, and Pavlos always brings a great sense of humor. His young adult children make it feel like a family place, and their dog Roumi completes the scene. If you like peace and quiet, this is a perfect place to stay. Walks to George or Agios Pavlos are nice, or you can relax on the beach and look at the caves. Each time we visit, we feel welcome and well looked after, and the holidays here stay with us.

Anna and Pavlos are what make this hotel so special. Their warmth and genuine hospitality make every visit feel personal and memorable. Anna's artistic touch shows in the decor and the delicious food she makes. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with a renovated bathroom and thoughtful furnishings. The hotel sits right on the beach at the quiet western end of the village, so it's wonderfully peaceful. We've visited Agia Roumeli for years and tried other hotels, but since finding Agia Roumeli Hotel, we haven't wanted to stay anywhere else. To us, it's easily the best hotel in Agia Roumeli. This was my third visit to Agia Roumeli, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and staying here again. I loved the simple feel and the location, and I'm grateful for the lovely breakfasts, including fresh baked gluten free items Anna made each day. Pavlo also made a perfect espresso every morning, exfaristo poli. The style may not be the most modern, but it suited me just right. It's a 50 year old hotel kept immaculate and extremely clean, and I liked that it hadn't been redone in that bland international beige style. Grateful to Anna and Pavlo.

The owners were lovely and friendly, and this quiet, low-key spot is in a beautiful location. We ate several meals at the hotel, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our room was clean, though small by US standards. It's a real gem and one of my favorite hotels and locations from our recent trip. They were one of the only hotels to ask me for a review at checkout, but I told them I wanted to write one after my stay. We hope to return to this part of Crete and the hotel one day.

The ocean views and sound of the waves were breathtaking, and the hotel is beautiful and close to the beach 🏖️. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and very hospitable, which made the stay feel personal. Rummi, the friendly hotel dog 🐶, made us feel even more at home. The 🛏️ was super comfy, perfect for a couple's time. I'd recommend it for a relaxing, memorable getaway!
