Physis Villas

Really lovely people, and the location is amazing. These are the best apartments around here and absolutely worth the stay.

The setting was so quiet and close to nature, and we could even pick fresh things from the garden around the three villas. The owners kept bringing us produce and were always happy to help. Villa Erato worked perfectly for our group of four: we each had privacy, with plenty of room to unwind. The new furniture and well-stocked kitchen made it easy to have a barbecue and lunch at home, then relax by the pool. Our bedrooms were comfortable and very clean, with fresh sheets, towels, a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and the rest of what we needed.

The family hosting us was so warm that we felt at home straight away. Erato surprised us with homemade jam, wine, olive oil and fruit. The house is lovely, with a large living space and open, well-equipped kitchen upstairs, plus two cosy, thoughtfully designed bedrooms downstairs. The air conditioning worked really well when it got hot outside. There are nature walks nearby, and beautiful beaches are an easy trip away. A minimarket is within walking distance, while bigger supermarkets are about five minutes by car. We’d gladly recommend Physis Villas and the owner family.

Erato was always around with helpful tips for day trips, beaches and places to eat, and her family were incredibly generous. Her mother brought homemade jams and marmalades often, and one night we were treated to a proper moussaka dinner. We could also pick fresh fruit and vegetables from the villa garden. The villa was beautifully equipped, with a good-sized pool and gorgeous views. It’s a peaceful place, yet only a 15-minute drive from the beautiful Venetian port of Chania. We had a perfect holiday and will certainly return.
