Kiwi Apartments

We had a nice summer vacation, and the apartments are very close to the beach. The cleaning team was perfect, and the AC was okay. A bus stop is right in front of the building, and they always had parking available. Still, the apartments need some renovation, the kitchen equipment was poor, and the pool water didn’t look very clear. Water from the solar tank leaked into one of the apartments. They fixed it after four days. We left two aluminium sun beds in our apartment, No.16. If anyone needs them, ask the receptionist.

We loved having a spacious balcony with a sea view, and the kitchenette was well equipped for making some meals there. The room was comfortable, with a big, cosy bed and pillows just like home, which matters to me because I’m picky about pillows. The bathroom was clean, and the apartment was cleaned regularly. The hotel is quiet and charming, with lots of good restaurants nearby, shops close by, and a bus stop to Chania right there. Three different beaches are a two-minute walk away. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We spent most of our time at the beaches and on day trips, so we didn’t use the pool. A perfect sun holiday hotel. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The location is good, close to the sea and only three to four minutes from the beach. Service was always friendly, and the pool is a plus, especially for families. The room is very basic and old fashioned, with a bathroom that seems at least 20-30 years old and basic kitchen equipment. The worst part for us was the old, small air conditioner in the living room only. It took one to two hours to cool the bedroom, and we weren’t allowed to leave it running when we went out. There was no mosquito net on the windows, and the old single glazed windows let in the traffic noise.

We had a great stay, with good facilities, a good location, and professional, kind staff. It was a nice bonus that we could spend our departure day at the pool and leave our luggage there for free.
