Peace and quiet all around, and the beach is close by. The apartments are clean, well kept, and have lovely views from each one. Our host was very kind and handled our late-night arrival flexibly. We were also welcomed with drinks and cookies.

The owners are nice, and the views are beautiful. It's a quiet neighborhood with a sandy, uncrowded beach and shallow, warm water, probably the warmest on the island. A great place for families with kids. There aren't any shops or taverns nearby, which I actually see as a plus, though others may not. You can drive about 10 minutes to Acharavi or Kassiopi for shopping. I prefer Acharavi, since it's a bigger town and prices are lower.

The hosts are very friendly, parking is available, and the balcony view is amazing. It's a great place and close to the beach. There are several nearby restaurants where you can eat well, but the store is a long way off, so you'd need to go to Kassiopi. You can walk there if you insist, as I did three times, but it's hot and difficult, and also dangerous since there's no shoulder. Renting a car is best, maybe a Fiat Panda for 45 euros a day, with the daily price getting lower if you book more days. All in all, a great place for a family holiday.
