San Georgio Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

The breakfast and room were okay, but the reception experience was awful. We arrived at 8pm, walked into the lobby, and didn’t even get a welcome. He made it feel as if we were bothering him, which was really unpleasant. He said the card machine wasn’t working, then came to our room an hour later to say it was fixed. We went down and still couldn’t pay by card, so I said we’d pay at checkout the next day. At 09:44 he knocked on our door shouting “check out”, even though checkout is officially at 10. I was shocked by the rudeness. Ten minutes later I went back downstairs upset and told him not to disturb guests fifteen minutes before checkout. Card payment still wasn’t possible, so I paid cash. When I asked for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper, as you can see below. I hope the company reads this and takes appropriate action about its employees.

Great location for a short stay, with a shop across the road, a bakery a minute up the street, and the beach five minutes in the other direction. It’s a lovely little hotel and good value. The pool area has loungers and gets afternoon sun. There’s a pool bar, but I never saw anyone there to serve drinks, so they missed out on my business. The rooms were clean, though the bathroom, especially the shower, was very cramped. It worked for me, but it’s not a boutique hotel. WiFi speed went up and down and was sometimes unusable.

We had a room with an amazing view, and the bed was a 10/10. We slept incredibly well. The shower was a little small, but still good. Breakfast had lots of choices for everyone, and the cleaning lady was so sweet. The staff were really friendly and always around to offer advice on places to explore. It’s in the prettiest part of the island, with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and car rentals to choose from. Do go down to the beach and say hello to the kitties around there. I rarely write hotel reviews, but this place deserves one. We really recommend it. Thanks so much again.

George and Peligra were so kind and welcoming, and we loved our stay. Since it’s adults only and a smaller place, we got to make friends with other travelers, which was lovely. The pool and hangout area was great for relaxing after a day out and having yummy drinks. The beach and lots of restaurants are only a five minute walk away. The hotel can help book boat rentals and share plenty of recommendations. Highly recommend it if you want to stay in this area!
