Carpe Diem Villas Mykonos - Heated Pool

The team were amazing, and we used their shuttle every day. It was much cheaper than taxis, always available, and they responded quickly. The villa had lovely accommodation and amazing views over the bay. Shops were about a 20 minute walk away, a nice walk for us. We were a family of four on the island for 10 days. It can get really windy because of the location, and we had a few days when we stayed at the villa. The nights were a little noisy, so it's good to know that in advance. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. And please look after the adorable cats!

The view is lovely and the place feels romantic, but getting there is hard. The road is such a mess that you need to be a pro driver.

The pool and its surroundings were lovely and really relaxing, with excellent views of the ocean. The villa was clean, well equipped and had good air conditioning. Communication with the manager was great, too. We asked for extra pillows and got them straight away. My husband, our two kids and another family stayed at Carpe Diem in July 2018 for four nights. We had a great time overall. The only downside was how crowded Mykonos gets in July, especially with young children.

Panda and his team made our stay so much better with their private transfers. We could WhatsApp Panda any time, day or night, and he would arrange a driver with an 8 seat minibus. The prices were very reasonable compared with Mykonos taxis, and every driver we met was lovely and friendly. For a big group, especially if you're going to party, that service was a lifesaver. Panda was such a nice man, and we'll book directly with him again when we return next year. We were 16 people in Carpe Diem villas 2 and 3 in May 2022. They are close enough to feel together as a group, but far enough apart that guests in one villa shouldn't be disturbed by the others. Villa 1 is set further back. We booked through booking.com at first, but had to liaise directly with Carpe Diem, so in hindsight we wish we'd booked on their website for a better rate. The sea views were great, and Ornos beach, Pasaji Beach Club and several little tavernas were about a 20 minute walk away. The road up to the villas is extremely steep if you're walking. The rooms were lovely, just like the photos, very clean, and the maid came every day. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of plates and glasses and a small dishwasher. The shower water was salty, which wasn't great for washing the girls' hair. We knew the pool was salt water already, so that didn't bother us.
