Dreambox Mini Villas

The setting wasn't ideal for us. There's no sunset view, the pool is beside a street, and you depend on having a vehicle. The rooms were poorly maintained, with dirty appliances, bad odors and even an open electricity box. When we complained, staff dismissed us without apologizing, leaving us feeling like a burden instead of valued guests. Breakfast was poor, with only two small dishes per person. Service lacked professionalism, and guest comfort clearly wasn't a priority. If you want clean, well kept rooms, reliable facilities and good service, this is not the place.

The checkout conversation with the hotel manager confirmed how poorly our stay had been handled. The manager acknowledged several failings and significant staff negligence, and admitted the hotel hadn't made adequate efforts to accommodate us or meet the standards expected of a property of its standing, despite the photo and written evidence we provided. The villa was filthy when we arrived. Floors, bathrooms and bedding were so dirty we didn't feel comfortable using them. We told the team immediately, but they didn't act promptly or effectively. We had to call reception repeatedly before it was cleaned, and even then it remained below an acceptable standard. We have photos and written records. Several bathrooms had visible blood stains on the walls, which was unsanitary and a serious health concern. I unknowingly slept on used chewing gum in the bedding. It stuck to my body and was very difficult to remove. After we told staff, the linens still weren't changed for two days. At checkout, we also found used underwear in a cupboard, with visible bloodstains, feces and hair. This was revolting and showed a complete lack of proper housekeeping. Our stay cost €2,500, which cannot be justified given these conditions. These failures raise serious customer service concerns and could violate local health, safety and consumer protection rules.

Breakfast was a highlight, served until 12 so we didn't have to get up early. It was fantastic, with plenty of sweet and savoury options in an à la carte style. The pool had great sea views, a refreshing temperature, and we had no trouble finding a sun lounger. Yannis and the woman at the pool bar were friendly and knowledgeable, and the main guy helped arrange a quad bike and taxis. Sorry, we're awful with names, but he made the stay feel 5 star. Thanks to everyone, we had a fantastic time. There wasn't much about this hotel online, which made me panic, but it was worth every penny. It's a flat 15 minute coastal walk into ornos and a 10 minute taxi ride to Mykonos town. A friendly host showed us to our clean, modern room, which had a smart TV and small fridge. Toiletries were refreshed during our stay.

We had a lovely family stay in October, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The beautiful, clean room was great, and the three cute kittens were a bonus. It's a great spot for kite surfers, with the kiting beach right by the hotel. I'd recommend it for a family visit in the off season. We could have used a couple more hooks for towels, since there were three of us.
