Angelikon 2 Luxurious Apartments

This quiet rural spot is great for a bit of rest and relaxation, with the beach a five-minute walk away and Myrenia about 15 minutes away. The rooms are nicely finished to a good standard. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee in the room. Since it was the end of the season, breakfast was ordered from a list instead of being a buffet. The food was decent, and the staff were very friendly. The one thing that bothered us was the owner's child being around, which we found disruptive and didn't like.

The family looking after the place were kind and friendly, and the grounds were beautiful and spotless. We stayed for most of a week in mid-July 2025. The apartments were furnished beautifully and felt really comfortable. Good air conditioning and a quality bed made for restful nights. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice range to pick from. There are two pools, and between them you can swim from 10am until 8pm.

We loved how much there is to do in Limnos and want to come back, staying at Angelikon again. We've already told family and friends about it. We went in July for a week with our two kids, a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, and it turned into one of our best family holidays, even though Limnos isn't a major tourist spot for people from the UK. At Angelikon, Venetia, her family, and the staff take care with every detail because they love what they do, not because they're trying to be a stuffy top-rated hotel. The accommodation, setting, relaxing pools, and delicious food all helped make the trip feel perfect. Agios Ioannis beach is a short walk away, Myrina is about a 15-minute drive, and most island sights take 30-40 minutes to reach. Myrina is a lovely town for browsing the shops. Many of the other visitors seemed to be Greek or Australians with family ties to the island, perhaps because of Limnos's links to the battle of Gallipoli, so the whole place felt family-oriented.

We had a great stay and will definitely come back. The apartments are amazing, with top-quality rooms and a really welcoming, helpful staff. Breakfast had just about everything and was excellent. Fresh juice would have made it feel like a five-star hotel breakfast. The property isn't on the beachfront, but the two comfortable pools make up for that. Thank you for your hospitality!
