Vasiliki and Catherine were so good at the snack bar. There were plenty of hot dogs and sandwiches, and the snacks were great. They were really friendly too. George and Thodoris at the pool bar were excellent!

The staff were brilliant, both during the day and in the evenings, including the JOKER and the daytime DJ. There's lots to do and good entertainment, and the food was nice with a decent variety. It can be a good resort for young families. But we wouldn't return. The resort seems to fit more people than it can comfortably hold. Even outside dinner, we often couldn't find a table for the evening entertainment. If you're in a large group, don't expect to sit together at meals, and you're not allowed to move tables to make room. Our room service was also unreliable. We didn't get clean towels, even after putting out the room-cleaning sign, and had to ask. I've visited now, but I never go back to the same place twice.

The water park is great for older kids, especially when it's already hot outside. Otherwise, the water can feel a bit cold for them. The resort itself is great, five stars.

The water park was a highlight. Hydrotube is amazing, and if you get up enough speed you go airborne twice. The staff there were all really cool, and the little gift shop had some nice Corfu and Greek things, which was handy given the location. We didn't try the park's food or drinks since the hotel was right there. We stayed for a week all-inclusive at the end of September, and going in the off-season worked perfectly for avoiding big families and queues at the water park. Our apartment room was extremely spacious, maybe more room than we needed since we didn't spend much time there, but it was clean and kept cool by the air conditioning. The food and drinks were good. There was decent beer on tap and a selection of spirits. Cocktails were hit or miss, but I mostly stuck with beer and rum and thought they were a nice extra. The menu changed daily and had a decent range. The fresh grilled food was often a bit dry, while dishes like the stewed pork were delicious. Desserts were mostly cream and pudding-based, though baklava and brownies showed up now and then. We didn't really join in with the entertainment. We stayed by the wave pool while the main pool hosted the activities, and we liked the sky bar in the evenings until the kids' club started. The music up there was far too loud and put us off. It was also hard to tell what the entertainment would be, since the board outside the restaurant didn't seem to get updated. The location is very isolated if you don't drive. The hotel offers shuttles to town and a nearby beach, but they're limited in capacity and timing. You'd probably want more time in town and maybe less at the beach. Still, public buses run regularly from right outside and cost 2.50 euros a ticket. You know the location when you book, so it barely counts as a negative. There were loads of wasps, as you'd expect in a hot country. They weren't aggressive, just annoying, so cover your drinks and they'll eventually leave. It didn't help that hotel guests kept leaving rubbish around. There are three cats on site too. The grey one is very friendly, the calico one pretty friendly, and the ginger one sucks.

This is a good family spot at a reasonable price. The resort has recently been made over, and it looks better for it. It's set away from the hustle and bustle, but there are local buses and a free TUI shuttle into the old town. I'm not sure if other operators offer one. There's a good choice of food and drink, though the coffee and wine could be much better. The pools are great, and my kids loved the wave pool. There's also rear access to Aqualand. Check the dates carefully. I went in mid-June and temperatures were around 30-36 Celsius.
