Villa Katerina

The owner is such a kind and helpful lady, and we had a great holiday here. It's a cute, traditional place close to the beach, and the view from our room was amazing.

The rooms felt very old and run-down, almost like stepping into the 1970s. It seemed we might have been the first people in ours, since the owner's mother had taken sheets from her dowry for us. In the shower there were 7-8 shampoo bottles, but no shower gel, and half the bottles had already been opened and used. After our ferry arrived, we rented a car and drove for an hour to reach the hotel. We'd booked somewhere closer, but that room was full, so we were sent here, which is very far from the city. There was no lobby. We happened to open a door, and the owner's mother came over and showed us to our rooms. Ten minutes later she returned to close the kitchen window because it opened outward. She told us her husband had died 10 years ago, etc.
