The owners were friendly and very helpful throughout our trip to Ikaria, which made it even better. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped with the things you might need while traveling.

We stayed as a couple and loved how quiet and beautiful the spot was. When we were inside, it felt like we were alone up on the mountain. Each time we opened the door, we'd pause on the doorstep to look out at the sea before heading off. The clean room had a fully functional kitchen for cooking, plus a big terrace where we could sit with a glass of wine in the evening or have morning coffee with a view. The hostess was kind and discreet. It's five minutes by car from Agios Kirikos, so we had everything nearby, and there was an excellent tavern close by serving good-quality, clean food. I highly recommend it if you want peace and quiet without being far from the world.

Getting there is a little tricky, and you'll need shoes for walking over the stones, but it's worth the effort.
