Kentavros Hotel

There’s practically no parking. They tell you the hotel has free public parking and that you don’t need to reserve a spot, but there is no public parking area. There’s just the village’s one road, and it’s always full, even outside the two hotels, despite the no-parking signs. To find a place to park, you have to go almost all the way out of the village, a few kilometers from the hotel.

The room was warm and had a beautiful view, and the location worked really well as a base for all the places worth seeing. We had a fantastic time, with great service and great food, including breakfast. Thank you very much, everyone, we had a fantastic time.

The location is perfect, the village is fantastic, and the people are very helpful. Breakfast, served at another hotel, was fine. I’ve stayed here twice at different times, and generally had a very nice time in Agios Lavrentios, but the hotel needs a lot of improvement. This latest stay wasn’t what I’d expect for 70€. The rooms are small, and ours had an old bathroom and no basic amenities like air conditioning. The mattress was old, and the bedspreads had hair, probably from previous guests, and didn’t seem to have been changed. There was dust and a strong damp smell. There were no window screens, which I consider basic in a village with insects. Those are the main things, though several other issues also put me off. I’d return if I knew the bedspreads were clean or had duvet covers. Friendly. Anna

The breakfast was more than excellent, with everything carefully prepared using very good ingredients. The staff were all very kind. The radiator was kept on in our room and throughout the property, and there was always hot water. We had a very good stay and will definitely come back and recommend it to others.
