The owner canceled my AirBnb booking for a week at the end of June just six days before check-in, saying the renovation hadn't been finished. That left me looking for somewhere else to stay in Corfu during high season, only six days before I was due to arrive. Be aware of the risk when booking this cottage.

The house was lovely and comfortable, and the host was very kind. The sea view was beautiful.

We just got here, and the setting is a dream. The decor is so tasteful, and there's a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. What else could you ask for?
