Lefkas Petra

We only meant to stay one night, but liked it so much that we stayed for three. It’s peaceful at the edge of the village, with lovely views and nice beaches within walking distance. Georgia greeted us enthusiastically each morning at breakfast and was always around when we needed information. We’d gladly return.

The only thing that bothered us was the tiny shower cubicle, about 50 by 50 cm. The room itself was good and spacious, with a lovely view, and it was cleaned every day. We also got homemade dessert daily, and the staff were very friendly. Great location, and there’s parking.

We stayed eight nights at Lefkas Petra, in one of the rooms with the highest views over Agios Nikitas. The balcony had a lovely outlook and enough room to sit, and inside we had a comfortable bed and pillows plus a spacious fridge. The room was cleaned and the towels changed daily. We tried breakfast once; it was good and had a nice range of options. The homemade dessert left in our room each day was delicious and such a thoughtful touch, and staff were there whenever we had a question. The setting was the highlight for us: quiet, among trees and birds, with views over town and sea. Agios Nikitas beach is about a 10-minute walk away. There were some rather loud guests in other rooms, though that can happen anywhere. The place is on a hill, so you have to climb to reach your room. We saw older people managing it, and didn’t find it a big problem. The view, room and peacefulness made it worthwhile.

That dessert in the fridge each evening was the best thing to come back to after the beach, and it was delicious. We stayed almost a week and enjoyed it a lot. The host was super nice, breakfast was fresh and good, and the garden and view from the room were amazing. We could borrow beach umbrellas too, which was really helpful. 🥹
