Adrakos Apartments-Terrassa Restaurant Adults only

We loved our time here. Calling it apartments doesn’t really capture it, since it’s a family run hotel with a wonderful restaurant. It’s an authentic Greek family place, in a location that has been in the family for generations. Don’t hesitate to stay. And try the wood oven lamb.

We paid quite a bit more for what was called a “suite,” but got a pokey studio instead. Apparently the added cost was because the hot tub is expensive to run, though we never used it. I’ve stayed here in much better rooms for less. Lesson learned.

We had a good time with the owners and the whole team, and found the place easy to be positive about. Our room was good, with everything we needed, though the feel is cosy Greek style rather than luxury. If something’s missing, reception will sort it out as soon as possible. The view from the room really is postcard-worthy. We couldn’t use the pool because it was sunny but very windy during our stay, though it’s in a beautiful spot for a swim. One evening we had aperitifs at the bar and a nice conversation with the owners. Breakfast was tasty, and the restaurant is well worth visiting for the slow-cooked sheep and lamb.

The place is simple and traditionally Greek. The rooms are spacious and have amazing food. Staff are amazing too, friendly and attentive. I’d definitely recommend it.
