For an affordable, relaxing beach holiday, it worked well. The hotel is conveniently placed, about 5-10 minutes from the beach, with plenty of places to eat in town and along the shore. Some guests went to Santa Maria, around a 10-minute walk away. There are cafes by the nearby beach, and I liked Kimzu Beach best. It’s right next to the sea from the hotel, quieter and less crowded, with grass and a sandy entrance. The two-star hotel is modest but has what you need: a hair dryer, TV, kettle, refrigerator, shampoo, conditioner, and air conditioning. Marina, the hostess, is very friendly and speaks several languages. She doesn’t speak Russian, but we understood each other perfectly. The hotel is at a crossroads, so it can be a little noisy at night.

The price didn’t feel right to me. Marina was kind and welcoming, and the hotel is close to both the city center and the seafront. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. They changed our sheets every day and supplied water in the fridge, shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, and a sewing kit. The room itself was a bit dated, and the kitchen barely had any utensils. When we asked, they gave us two glasses, two coffee mugs, two spoons, plus a knife and a plate.

There are several supermarkets, cafes, and a bus stop close by, with something to suit every taste, and the beach is nearby too. The room has air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and a kitchenette with an electric kettle and stove. Marina at reception deserves a mention: she’s very friendly and ready to help with any questions. I’m happy with the hotel and would like to come back. It’s a good choice for a budget holiday.

A welcoming hostess, Marina, and a nice hotel. The beach is a five-minute walk away, and the center takes about 10 minutes on foot. There’s also a Vasilopoulos supermarket, tavernas, and shops nearby. The room has air conditioning, a TV, a small refrigerator, a kettle, and excellent Wi-Fi. Probably the best choice in Agios Nikolaos in its category.

The family who runs this hotel were lovely, and it’s handy for both the supermarket and town, about a 5-10 minute walk away. Our double-facing room had a fabulous breeze. Traffic from the roundabout can be a bit noisy, though.
