Hotel Delta

Very friendly staff and clean rooms, though the rooms aren't well equipped. There’s no elevator. The beach is less than 100 meters away, with several good restaurants along it, and the center of Agios Nikolaos is 200 meters away. Free parking is very hard to find, but there's a paid lot less than a hundred meters away.

The location is very good, the room was cleaned well, and there was plenty of storage. But in Room 101 the view was limited and the window was very dirty. The room was unbearably hot during the day in mid-October unless you paid extra for expensive AC, and the mattress was sweaty and had no ventilation. The bed creaked so loudly my roommate woke when I got up to use the bathroom, and the bathroom door squeaked too. Some wall plugs were out of place, though not where you needed them. Normally I'd have given Delta one star, but VING offered an incredibly cheap two-week flight deal even though we booked only 40 days before departure. It was one of the most affordable charter trips of my life. There were lots of novels at reception.

We slept really well in the firm beds, better than I have in a long time. The rooms were very clean and modest, but still fully equipped. The air conditioning could be adjusted, with an air heat pump available for an extra fee. Restaurants and Kitroplatia beach are just a few dozen meters away. Our small balcony faced the street and beach, but nighttime noise didn't disturb us. The staff were friendly, and the front door was locked for security. We had a really good time, thank you! ♥️

A little cozy hotel right by the beach, with a kitchen, fridge, and freezer. Handy for bringing fruit and ice cold water down to the sand. The city center and everything else in town are within walking distance. If I return to Agios Nikolaos, I'll stay here again.
