La Maison Blanche

Our hostess Maria was lovely and made sure we were looked after and had plenty to do. We found just what we wanted: a spot where Himself could relax all day while I went exploring, and somehow we both got our way. It’s a tiny, perfectly formed place on the hillside overlooking the new port on Mykonos. We were there for a long weekend. Breakfast on the patio looking out to sea was just right, and there’s a great local taverna within walking distance, though the walk is steep.

We were five women, all around 30, and were blown away by the scenery, hotel, villas, views, service and amenities. The villas had loads of room, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen came stocked with coffee, cookies and tea, which we used every morning and loved. Have your coffee on the balcony at sunrise :) Sofia sent us lots of useful details before we arrived, including how to get around Mykonos, beach options with prices and activities, and places to eat. Christina met us at the driver when we arrived, so the service was already above par from the start. The people were the nicest I’ve ever met, and the views were even better. It’s the most comfortable, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed, and I fully intend to come back to Mykonos and stay in the same spot.

The accommodation was spotless, and we really appreciated the thoughtful little extras. Sofia and her team, Maria and Maria, were wonderful. They helped us before we arrived and gave us a great list of places to visit, so we always had good days. From the place you get magnificent, expansive views, day and night, above all the hustle and bustle. Our week went by so quickly. Highly recommended.

The hostess was great and took time to share plenty of good beach and restaurant tips. Our room was fairly small but still a good size for two. The location is peaceful, up the mountain just outside Mykonos town on the way to the port. The view across town, the port, the boats coming and going and the island’s whole western side is absolutely amazing. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink. Whenever we closed the room, it started to smell, so we kept the windows open all the time. I hope they fix it.
