We left before completing our six-day booking, after less than three days there. During our July 2023 visit, the air conditioning in our room never worked properly and stopped altogether after two days. Even though we reported it, staff couldn’t repair it or move us to another room within 15 hours. There were vacant rooms, but they hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. The hotel and the area around it were dirty and unpleasant, with rubbish outside. Our room was in terrible shape, with very old furniture, and the clean sheets were covered by dirty blankets. I travel around the world a lot, and Panorama Hotel was the worst place I’d stayed in for years. I’m surprised such poor standards can still be found in Europe. I’d strongly avoid it.

I read the negative reviews and thought they were incredibly unfair. For a simple, cheap hotel, this one gave me everything I needed and deserves 5 stars. I paid just 60 euros and got a 10 euro shuttle to the port at 9am, plus ferry information. They let me check in at 4am, and the reception staff were lovely when I woke them up. When I left, they offered me advice too. If you need to stay near the port or just need a short stop, your money is well spent here.

The sunset view is beautiful, and the hotel has a really useful map and guides to the island. We needed the shuttle bus from the location, which cost €2 at the bottom of the hill, and that was fine. Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff, especially the older women. I recommend it!

The people working here were so warm and welcoming, and their help with car hire, reservations, and recommendations really made the stay. The hotel has a cute, authentic Greek feel. Mykonos town is an easy 7-minute drive away, and renting a car on Mykonos is necessary anyway, so the distance wasn’t an issue. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the hotel has a nice view, especially in the morning. The room was big enough for the price. Wi-Fi only works in the public areas, though, and that needs attention. The hotel isn’t close to the city. I went in low season, when there were no open restaurants nearby and the bus service wasn’t running. Without a vehicle, getting into town meant paying 10 Euro for a cab each way, every time I wanted to go. It could be tricky in low season if you don’t have your own transport.
