Coffee on the balcony with the sea sounds nearby was one of our favourite parts. Santa Marina Apartments is only steps from the beach, and the apartments were spotless and comfortable. The family running it welcomed us with real warmth, helpful local tips, stories, and a chat whenever we wanted one. We used the place as a base for Rodakino Beach, Preveli Palm Beach, Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Big Waterfall, and a swim at Ammoudi Beach. There are also plenty of nearby tavernas for Cretan food in the evenings. We felt at home from the minute we arrived, and can't wait to come back to Santa Marina Apartments on Crete. ❤️🇬🇷

The rooms are clean, right by the beach, and have a beautiful view. It's really peaceful here. The lovely family who run the place and supermarket are so friendly and polite. Absolutely recommend staying here.

The owners are what make this place feel special. They're all so nice and made us feel right at home. The rooms are pleasant and really clean, and the rates for rooms, food, and drinks are fair. You can get down to the beautiful beach in under a minute, and the beach hasn't been too crowded when we've visited in June or September, with not many hotels close by. There's a cute supermarket with almost everything you might need at fair prices. And the coffee is great, especially the cappuccino freddo. I love this place!

The attached supermarket is really handy, and the honey they make and sell there is premium. We were very happy with our stay and are looking forward to coming back. The family-run businesses have pleasant, accommodating housekeepers, and the rooms and amenities were fully equipped and more than satisfactory. It's in a perfect spot beside beautiful beaches. Breakfast isn't included, and we didn't try the food at the cafe or snack bar, but there are excellent options nearby and a good reason to venture out.

The welcome every morning is fantastic, whatever the weather, and makes such a difference to the start of the day. We can't wait to return! It's a lovely spot for breakfast or a snack, looking out over the beautiful beach and sea, and the service is the real highlight.
