We’ve loved this part of Corfu and its people for years, and our affection for it hasn’t faded. The Garneli family, especially Yiannis, show the warmth and kindness that made us want to build a home here. After selling our villa, we’re now staying at Villa Garneli, and hope to enjoy this glorious place for many more years. Our connection goes back about 24 years, when we first arrived in Corfu and were camping in our unfinished villa in Sinies. Yiannis Garneli heard about our situation and was incredibly generous and kind. We became friends then, and that kindness has stayed with us. We’ve travelled all over the world, but what we experience here feels priceless and unique. Thank you, Yiannis and the Garneli family.
