Kyra Niki

The setting feels wonderfully wild and hardly changed by people, just right if you want to get away from the city. The owners are so welcoming that you feel like part of their family, and our room had its own entrance with tasteful traditional decor. Breakfast was plentiful: Greek cheeses, sausages, jams, fruit, orange juice, cake, and scrambled eggs from their own chickens. Kyra Niki also makes lots of delicious food with vegetables grown at home. Highly recommend it.

Kyra Niki puts so much of Greece's hospitality and tradition into what she does, all on her own. If I had to give Greek hospitality a name, hers would come to mind right away.

The view is amazing, and there are plenty of hikes to do. Ask Niki or her daughter Ageliki for tips. This family-run guest house has lovely, very clean rooms, some with fireplaces and some without. Niki makes a homemade breakfast, and the on-site tavern serves great local food with green ingredients from her backyard. The meat is great too.

The family who hosted us, the older parents and their daughter, were so friendly and helpful. Guests seemed to get along with each other too, which made for a comfortable atmosphere. The place is surrounded by flower pots and a garden, and the decor is traditional, neat, and carefully done. Everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and the family's taverna right there serves delicious homemade food. Highly recommend it.
